Richmond’s best kept secret, Marina Bay, is full of history and endless opportunities to explore the outdoors. Whether you are out for a stroll, bike ride or sailing out on the water, you can enjoy panoramic bay views stretching from the East Bay hills to Marin County, with the San Francisco cityscape as a focal point in the distance.
Home to Rosie the Riveter Memorial and Visitor Center, people travel to the area to see where “Rosies” built WWII liberty ships and to participate in the annual “Rosie Rally and Homefront Festival” created to honor the legacy of an icon for women all over the world.
New developments are underway in the area, including a Richmond Ferry Terminal with service to San Francisco scheduled to be completed in late 2018. Local hotspots include Armistice Brewing Company, Anh Vietnamese Restaurant and Assemble Restaurant, to name a few.
With all the culture, history and fun to be explored in Marina Bay, it is no wonder that it is quickly becoming one of the East Bay's most desirable places to live and play!
